Hannants Cleaning Limited are dedicated to promoting and providing outstanding Health and Safety practice and awareness in the workplace. We endeavor to ensure that risks to the health, safety and welfare of our employees, clients and others affected by our activities, are identified and action is taken to minimise or eliminate their effects. Our excellent safety record, our attention to detail and ongoing commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment demonstrates this.
We are proud to have achieved and held accreditation status with the National Britannia SafeContracor Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme for several years, and have also recently achieved Accreditation within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). We believe our association with these schemes demonstrates our dedication to the welfare of our workforce and the quality of the service we provide.
Hannants provide full in-house health and safety support including;
•Written Health and Safety Policies - Risk assessment - Work procedures/method statements - COSHH assessment
•Maintenance and testing of work equipment, including in-house PAT testing
To ensure that Hannants Cleaning Limited maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety at your premises we have a comprehensive training programme to ensure our staff are trained to task and safety aware, this includes;
•Induction, task, equipment and manual handling training provided by our CEIH certified in-house trainer and approved external providers where appropriate
•CEIH and IOSH qualified staff
•All employees entering construction sites are fully qualified within the Construction Skills Certification Scheme
•Regular training and welfare reviews - Trained first aid personnel
Communication and cooperation within our workforce and with our clients ensures we have full insight into the environment we are working in and the affects of our work activities. Annual audits, periodical policy reviews and regular legislation updates enable us to monitor, measure and review, and continually update and improve upon our policies and procedures.
Hannants Cleaning Limited are also aware of their responsibility to the environment. We constantly endeavor to;
•Minimise waste, especially hazardous waste, and where possible, recycle materials
•Dispose of all waste through safe and responsible methods
•Consider the environmental impact on all products we use or supply and provide environmentally friendly products wherever practicable
•Procure goods and services in a socially and environmentally responsible manner
•Continue to monitor, review and improve our environmental performance
